The Agricultural Water Quality Management Program (AgWQMP) is responsible for developing and implementing agricultural pollution prevention and control programs to protect the quality of Oregon's waters. The AgWQMP has evolved in response to water quality programs and requirements under various state and federal laws, such as the Clean Water Act.

| What to do if you want to file a water quality complaint |
|
Information received from Oregon's concerned citizens is vital to our efforts to protect the environment. If you believe that Oregon water quality laws have been violated, we urge you to submit an agricultural water quality complaint. While you are not required to use the form below, persons filing a complaint must submit it in writing, sign and date it, and provide the information requested on the form. Completed complaints may be sent to the Oregon Department of Agriculture, Natural Resources Division, 635 Capitol St NE, Salem, Oregon 97301, Fax 503-986-4730.
Agricultural Water Quality Program Complaint Form (228K pdf)
The Oregon Department of Agriculture is charged with the investigation of situations that would cause pollution of public waterways. The department does not regulate odor, dust, or nuisance complaints caused by normal farming.
